The other week i bought a top from dotti which was on sale and had $29.95 on the price tag. Since it waz $49.95 before, i thought it was a pretty good value so i bought it. But when i went home and casually looked at the receipt, it said $14.95! It was actually on the 50% aslie and i didnt realize. i was like SCORE =D=D. From my economics study, i realized i had just achieved cnosumer surplus, which is defined as the difference beween the price a consumer is willing to pay and the equilibrium price. In the graph above, this equilibruim price is at Qe, at 15 dorrah, this is coz its winter and the top is pretty thin and summery. i was willing to pay 30 bucks for it, but i only had to pay 15 dorrahs, which means i acheived cnsumer surplus in the blue shaded area =)

anyway, its study week nows. "Study" is "To go over to the opposite sex's house not to study, but to "study." "Studying" usually involves fooling around without any pants on." as defined by urban dictionary. I know the word - study is formal enough to look up on real websites, but i lyk urban dictionary coz its SO MUCH MORE ACCURATE =)

Well i wont be doing any study in study week, As in.. revising course material.. but i will be actually LEARNING the shitsss during study week. hahahs

FINALLY! waited for 6 months till HPT (Hazard perception test), and the night before i get to go for it, i find out i had to sent my logg book back to c.i for my mum to sign the witness, no i could not forge it because some other witness has to see my mum sign it and witness it aswell =.= so much hassle, took 3 weeks fer it to send there and back and today, my driving intructure came to pick me up to go for HPT (grandma nor i, knew the way or what to do, and he had to check if i did my logg book correctly) We were on our way to Welshpool but he was worried about how i did " " on sum colums which are repetitive, like car plate number and shit my mum wrote it once and just did " " for the whole page. He said someone got rejected at counter for doing that. Then my witness for mum thing - A justice of peace, didnt stamp the justice of peace stamp on my logg book =.= so my instructure was lyk =S, not sure if theyll let. Along vahland he changed his mind and we went to City West to get do my HPT because aparently thy're easier and not as picky as Welshpool.

He was right because all they did was count up my hours.. flick through the pages, When she got to the witness page with the justice of peace witnesss thingo, i was hell lyk *shitttttttt please workkkkkk* and she flicked passt it and i waz lyk PHEWFFFFFFFF!!

Passsed my HPT =) and applied fer a proof of age card while i was there =)

I really wanted my car license hell soon coz i hatttttttee asking fer lifts and i hate spending my fri and sat nights over MSN and facebook which i had been doig fer the past 4 years ish. Though this week, i waznt as xcited bou getting my licence as i waz 3 months ago. Probably have sumthing to do with me failing 3 units in uni.

Well i'll see if i can attempt to drive to uni 2morw =) and then late nights shopping at caro maybe?, wanna buy these boots i saw on catalogue frm kmart (i see y im failing uni now, lol)

18th birthday party (held 24/04/2010)

The day of my party, a saturday i was stressssssed, coz my house was a total messssss and i didnt think i'd be able to clean up in time. I took shortcuts and shoved everything into boxed and shifted everything to store rooms hiding stuff xDD which worked but it was going to be a bitch re-allocating all my shit which i tried to hide.

Mananged to shift my comp table covering my comp room to my dining room and put up black card on top so it blocked out the comp room from the dining room completely creating my strobe light room which was EPIC!!. i bought the strobe lights for 19bucks at dick smith and anyone who wants to borrow it just ask me =)

i regretted not allowing +1nz coz it didnt seem like alot of people came.. lyk 50-60ish but people came and left at different times and i felt like my house could fit alot more people. For example outside i got 2 tables set up and it was only half in use for circle of death. Inside the house, no1 was sitting on the dining table at all from 10pm onwards. and not people were at one point sitting down on the corner of the strobe light room and there were about 4ish people dancing at any 1 time.

SHOULD ALLLOW -1nz NEXT TIME.

ALSO, i wanted to invite more people but was too scared to send them an invite coz of the fear that they would think "errrrrrrrrrr.. y did sherilyn invite me to her bday?? i dont even know her that well..." BUTTT i see these people at uni the next week and.. person1: "oh man.. i saw ur 18th bday pix on facebook and i was lyk *i wasnt invited =(*" person2: "YEAHHH MANNN I WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTTTTTTT YOU DIDNT INVITE ME=("

OVERALL my party felt too short but people seemed to enjoy it, im anoyed at my carpet stains (suspect mudshake) and the brocken bathroom rails which NO-ONE has owned up to ==. we had to buy a new one ffs ==

ALSOOO. i LOL at how much i dont care about other people. i REMEMBR walking into the bathroom to sum1 kneeling over toilet (Darren) and 2 people patting his back and Sum1 telling me "darrens sick" or sumthing. I just looked at him... and walked away

UWA

Since year10-11 ish, i knew i would end up doing Commerce at Curtin. Thought that for my upper high school life. I went to all the curtin open days and told all the people who said they're aiming to get into curtin: "see you there! ^^" I was hell excited and looking foward to attend Curtin.

Despite watching all of The Big Bang Theory, Latest Desperate Housewives, Gossip girl, Glee during TEE study break. I passed all my subjects.. and even managed a 87 TER. Most UWA entry TER scores are 80 but i still listed allllll my preferences for Curtin University (We were allowed 6 preferences). 1st is Commerce, ofcourse ; ) and the rest varied from Food Science to creative writing (i always loved reading)

Me and YuLin were going to be Curtin Commerce buddies, and i always coped heaps of shit from calvin and Kim (who, judges people based on academic accomplishments) bou how shit Curtin is.. or something like that.

10 days before closing date for preferences.. Sasha Tay FINANNLLYYY decided what she wanted to do, which was Law/Commerce at UWA. (she was debating wheather to do Science/Com or Law/Com) SHe says to me: "heyyy .............. if you did Commerce at UWA, WE CAN BE IN THE SAME CLASS D:"

im lyk D:!! "OK!!"
and my all time Curtin dream flushed out and i changed my 1st preference to Commerce at UWA.

i LOVVVVEEEE UWA. it has the bestt people there, met heaps of cool kids: Matt Tay, Danoel Ngo, Marie, ESTHER SIAW. I love uni life, High school was shitty in the sence that everyone there is LOUD, and disruptive and gayyy and.. UNCIVILIZED (no joke, they pushh and shove when getting onto the bus)

Coz people at uni are 17+, everyones more.. proper.. and i feel comfortable mingling in the crowds.

Edward Deng, doing geology at curtin came to UWA for a visit and he admits he likes UWA better. Better atmoshpere or something... I also find that, the rare kids who said they like uni are from UWA.

The downside of UWA is that it takes 40mins to get there which isnt too bad because i have my iPod (wished i have an iPod TOUCH or iPhone so i can game instead of just music) Other thing is that.. they made all the Commerce peeps who got in with discrete maths do this unit - Quantitative Methods for Business Stats: ECON1111, WHICH IS SOOOOOOOOOOO FUCKING HARD (according to me... and ONLY me supposidly) i am fully failing, i dont kno wots going on, its sortov like Intro Calc which is year 11 stuff, but i did Foundations of maths in year11 so i have not heard of the word "logirithums" or "Differentiate" untill this year.

In total i am failing 3 units. (only unit im passing iz Accounting) sooo i better up my game =P. if i fail too much i think ill take up bank telling or sumthing.

I go to all my lectures and tutes and stuff, i think i need to open the text book more often, coz from memory, the text books were my teachers for year11+12.
