"soul mate"

As reply to cindys post. something about a human having 2 heads etc, but 1 soul and it split and therefore ur other half would be ur soulmate.

I was watching Dexter and Dexter actually meets this another chick while being in a long-term commited relationship with Rita. this other Chick - Lila is JUST like Dexter, a lone wolf, and an addict. though the difference is - she's addicted to drugs while he's addicted to killing people. for his whole life, Dexter outs on a mask of being a good boy but in his spare time he hunts and kills people then chops their body up so its easily dispose of across the atlantic ocean. Rita, who is in love with the mask of Dexter ever knew this - she would be traumatised and would never accept it. Lila on the other hand already sees behind Dexters mask and accepts it and would still love him for it.

I find the attraction between lila and dexter is somewhat MORE than of Dexter and Rita. Its kindov lyk whenever he has sex with Rita- its a chore, but with lila its more ov He wanted to.

I dont know where im gettting with this but Lila would be Dexters "SOULMATE" as she claims which i sorta beleive, but dispite the fate leading them together **SPOILER ALERT* dexter ends up killing her coz she waz a control bitch but yeah ...



Human Emotions are reallly complicated and sometimes we just think alittle toooo far with life and all. What is life? A neverending quest to find you other half? the need to acheive self-actualisation?

We forget... like all species on Earth.. We need to reproduce and the hormones are urging us to find a mate to continue the human species and thats when we seek a better half. So in my opinion, there really is no "soul mate" but when looking for a mate we search for the right person and I don't beleive that there is only 1 correct soul-mate we can have but we'll find the CLoSEST match to the definition of a soul-mate as we can.
